I am so happy to share with you a wonderful reading curriculum called Reading Eggs. We are using it with our preschooler, who has not yet begun reading, but knows all of her letter names and sounds.
This online beginning reading site is bright, fun, and engaging. Reading Eggs caught Leah’s attention right away.
Each lesson starts with this map that shows your child’s progress.
Reading Eggs uses a lot of repetition, to really cement the facts with your child.
You and your child can see the progress made in each lesson, and what is coming up next.
The way Reading Eggs changes up each lesson keeps your child interested in learning. The lesson takes Leah about 20 minutes to complete each time. Sometimes she does it all by herself. Sometimes when clicking and dragging are involved, she points to the screen while I do it for her.
The lessons really hold Leah’s interest well, and there is plenty of feedback from the lessons. After your child completes a lesson, there is a bright playroom to have some fun in.
There are all sorts of fun things to click on and enjoy.
Leah is actually beside my desk now, waiting for me to finish writing this review so she can hop up in my lap and learn another lesson. Reading Eggs is a winner in her book!
Age range:
Reading Eggs seems most suited for children ages 3-5, but their site says it can also be used to reinforce skills for older children. Reading Eggspress is also available for children ages 7-12
Price:
$75.00 for a full year
$49.95 for six months
or a $9.95 monthly subscription
There are three levels, with 40 lessons in each level.
You can also try Reading Eggs for free.
We have enjoyed these lessons, and I would definitely recommend them if you have a new or early reader at your house.
*** I received a subscription of this product in exchange for an honest review. You can see what the other TOS Review moms thought of Reading Eggs here.***

We have been using their free trial for about 2 weeks now and love it. My 7 year old boy has been struggling so bad and no phonics program was working. (trust me I tried plenty) I would gladly pay for this program because I am already seeing results.
Have a great day.
Kim
Sorry it took so long to get back to you! Have a Happy Mother’s Day!

thanks for this review Sam. I am looking for a little supplement for Nadia and when Amelie learns her letters this preschooler part looks very cool.
