One of my goals for this month was to get sponsorship help so I can attend the Great Homeschool Convention in Cincinnati. A sweet friend paid for my ticket, but I knew I had to find a way to get there. My lovely mother is sponsoring my hotel expenses for the night and I was blessed when another friend, Vanessa, offered to sponsor my gas to get there!
I am so grateful for my wonderful friends, and mom! I am so excited about the convention! I think that teacher training, support and refreshment are needed to keep us homeschool moms going.
Vanessa is a local homeschooling mom {who needs to come to our support group meeting this week, ahem!!} and in addition to the busy demands of taking care of her family and home while teaching at home, she is also an Independent Consultant for Scentsy.

Thank you for this giveaway….. I was recently introduced to scentsy and love it. My favorite would be baked apple pie scent. I love for it to smell like I am cooking although sometimes it makes me hungrier though… Lol

I have been lucky to go to a homeschool convention for the past two years. What a time of encouragement. It gives me the extra boost to not ony finish the year strong but continue the next year. But just don’t get overloaded at the bookfair and change curriculums again. :-) That is what I am always tempted to do each time I go. Stick to the speakers and a shopping list. :-)
