Last year, I did a review of posts. It feels like I put that post together yesterday!!! This year, I am just grabbing my favorite moments, which may or may not have been here on the blog. 2012 has been a very good year!
January
I have two for January. First, the simple gift that everyone loved.
as well as the beginning of a journey for me this year that keeps going!
February
It seems all we did was bake in February, as all of my photos are of food or us in the kitchen!
March
We started redoing bedrooms for the kids, but we also dug into school, with less baking.
April
I took my first solo road trip, stayed up all night talking to Marcy {sorry Ben} and got to meet the writers of our fabulous curriculum!
I didn’t intend to miss all of the workshops I had so meticulously planned, but I ended up hanging out at their booth instead. I already have my ticket for next year, so watch out!
I also did my first vlog in April!
May
We took a staycation, and took day trips around Kentucky. Our first stop was Fort Boonesborough, as we had just wrapped up our study of Daniel Boone.
June
We traveled to Pigeon Forge, and toured the Titanic. We were able to go for free, a blogger perk!
July
The fourth is always a highlight in our family.
August
I went to my second Nascar race. I love going!
September
I ran my first 5K!
{Hopefully, over-exercise won’t mean my second 5K, which I ran injured, won’t be my last…}
October
My favorite month!
The second 5K, which is also the last time I was able to run. I hope to start back slowly and see what the knee says…
November
Our favorite tradition-making the pie!
December
Every year on Christmas Eve, my children exchange gifts that they pick out for a secret person. We choose the names on Thanksgiving after the meal is finished. The kids always have a blast!!
We are slow paced compared to most people, we don’t have a ton of places to be, and we stay home a lot. I want to soak up every moment the Lord allows us to be together.

Congratulations on so many firsts (and seconds) in 2012. It does seem like the year has completely come and gone. I think this is the first year (2012), in a while, where I have so many happy memories. You can also see in some of your pictures how much your children have grown in one year.
