This post surrounds two of my favorite things- my billionth { only slightly exaggerated} ESV Bible, and my new Bible cover.
I have finally found the Bible that I love, the one that I have written in, highlighted, and read the Bible from cover to cover with. This is the ESV Bible that I want to keep at my side, adding more to it as the years go by.
This particular Bible is one I bought for myself and my best friend, and I can’t find it anymore. I wanted to protect it, to keep it around for years and years to come. A Bible cover seemed like the best solution, but the covers out there are so generic, and none of them really seemed to fit me.
I decided to search Etsy for a custom solution. That is where I found Ellen. I searched many stores, but something about her store, Tote-ally Blessed just seemed right. That was before I found out that she donates 20% of each order to the Johnson family adoption fund. The Johnsons are adopting a special needs child internationally through Reece’s Rainbow. Read more on Ellen’s blog, A Tote-ally Blessed Life.
Ellen has been fabulous to work with, and she listened to all of my requests to come up with the perfect Bible cover for me.
My cover ended up being only one fabric, simple without frills, with magnetic clasp and embroidery. Ellen even includes bookmarking ribbons to match your design.
I chose the simple one pocket cover, but there are more additions she will make if you want them.
As picky as I am, I can’t tell you how happy I am with the finished product. Ellen has been fabulous to work with!
If you are in the market for a new and unique Bible cover, I hope you will visit Tote-ally Blessed on Etsy!
**For the record, this isn’t a “review”. I did not receive any free product or discount to write about my experience. I honestly love my new Bible cover, and the generous spirit that Ellen has to donate part of her income to others.

Are you familiar with the sword bible (www.wordbible.org). I need a bible cover? Can you make me one?
Mary- I didn’t make the cover. You can message Ellen {linked in the post} with your Bible size and she can make you one!

Sam,
I am so glad that you love your Bible cover! Thank you for your kind words. I am blessed beyond measure to be able to donate to such a fantastic family. The Johnson’s are truly wonderful and full of love, the kind of love that only comes from our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Adoption is something that had always been on my heart but not something my husband and I have been called to (yet anyway. you just never know God’s plan!) But, He did call me to help. I thank you for your support, and pray God’s abundant blessings for you and your family.
Oh, and thanks again for your thoughts on Life of Fred. I think we’re going to go with it for a while. My 11 year old was excited when I told him. He really enjoys reading, so it’s a great fit for him! =)
Have a blessed day!
Thank you for such a beautiful cover. I am carrying it with a huge smile!
