Stick With It Saturday

Here is my week with Whole30 and Combat!

Sunday- {Day 5 of Whole30}

No workout. First day off in 9 or 10 days. It feels weird to not have a workout, but I am completely exhausted, I took a nap. This never happens!

This yummy eggplant was lunch {and I had leftovers for dinner} and was sliced about an inch thick, rubbed in EVOO and cooked on the rack farthest from heat on 400 for 30 minutes. {Turned 15 minutes in.}

Monday- {Day 6}

I was scared that I would feel like yesterday, but I was okay. I didn’t make 5:30 wakeup, but did get up at 6ish.

Today we {hubby and I} did Warrior 1, which we hadn’t done before. Oh my. Pushups, sumo stuff in plank, weights, do it all again…lots of plank work, uppercuts with weights….pushups. Some ab work was broken up at the end with more plank work. This one was a beast!

I used to think I ate a lot of veggies, but I was wrong. Now I am eating whole peppers and whole zucchini-and they barely register a calorie bump.

Tuesday- {Day 7}

Workout for this morning, Combat 45.

I felt great until about 4:00, then I was exhausted. I ate ribeye and veggies, but it smelled so good I didn’t pause past prayer for a picture!

Wednesday- {Day 8}

I started the day off with Shock Plyo and Inner Warrior. Inner Warrior is a stretch workout, and when I took my shoes off, I stepped all over the seat from Shock Plyo. It was the hardest workout yet!! I had to stop and catch my breath. My legs were jelly. Intense!!!

I broke the rules for Whole30, but in a tiny way. I am putting a small amount of honey in my Lady Grey tea. I am always cold, and it is so warm. I have tried to drink it plain, and still prefer the flavor of Stevia. I may amend that to Stevia. {cough}

Thursday- {Day 9}

Combat 60 was on tap, and was great as usual! I wanted to barf when looking at meat and began rethinking this whole 30 thing…

Friday- {Day The End}

I canned Whole30 when I almost barfed at lunch. I woke up late and missed my workout, so I have to switch off days. I will explain why next week, this post is long enough!

How was your workout week?!

  1. Looks like you had an awesome week. From reading this I am sure I am not ready for Combat…is there a program you know of that would prepare you for it? I need Combat Lite. LOL
